We arrived at the Inn earlier than expected (4:15 PM) after visiting the park, thinking perhaps we would be offered a small table in a reception area or be able to be seated in a lounge or bar area for drinks or light fare until our 5:00 reservation. I suspect that since the Glen Iris is the only restaurant located in the Park, that lack of convenience or other options for visitors has given the establishment free reign to treat customers however they like. 04/08/2022 Cuisines: American, Diner Glen Iris Inn The appetizers we chose on the first day were an Italian meatball soup (the soup of the day), which was overly salty, and a smoked trout, prepared locally (as I gather); it was really excellent. The inns restaurant, Carolines, serves hearty entrees such as prime rib, roasted duckling and herb-crusted rack of lamb. Most in our party ordered steaks which were cold, overcooked, and underseasoned.

The visitor center houses the main offices for the park, a staffed desk, informational kiosks, gift shop, bathrooms and has a charging station for electric cars.
